Fall 2018!

The Children’s Sangha will be posting our FALL 2018 Program Schedule by mid-end of August! We are privileged to share another wonderful season together with you!

You will find information about our Community Support Group meetings, Project Stewardship Program for young adults, and other Fall meetings and special events for parents/caregivers and professionals on our Program Schedule.  And, we are excited to continue our NEW Civic Mentoring Initiative which we began during Spring 2018!  College students interested in becoming a civic mentor can apply here. We will then contact you to provide details and set up an interview!

Families interested in our Instructional Services for Students, Guidance Services for Young Adults, and/or Clinical Educational Consulting for Parents and Schools, can feel free to contact us at any time! In alignment with our Different Abilities Development Model, we approach teaching and learning by understanding the “whole child” and working with our young people in ways that work best for them (considering developmental level, learning styles, strengths, needs).

We look forward to hearing from schools and community organizations who would like to… Start Your Own School Garden and Reconnect Nature’s Child! Any young people in high school and college who have an affinity with nature or those with farming skills (as well as abilities and interests in other areas such as education, psychology, social work) can contact us for internship opportunities in alignment with our Project Stewardship program. Attend our “Find Your Voice in Social Action” and “Nature Communities” training. Be mentored as teachers, leaders, and education or environmental advocates. We emphasize being “stewards” for self, others and Earth!

Please visit The Children’s Sangha Facebook page for photos of past programs and events, articles on educational topics, and postings of community events that may be of interest to you. Visit our Instagram page and YouTube channel as well!

Wishing everyone an enjoyable remainder of SUMMER 2018!
