July 30: A Night of Astronomy [Postponed Due to Weather)

We are excited to partner with Vincent Contressa who will provide our Project Stewardship participants with the opportunity to learn about celestial observation as we share enthusiasm for ways to experience our solar system! He will be assisting by our “youth astronomer”, David, who will impact his knowledge as well! Join us for a workshop activity, see professional telescopes, view the night sky, and ask questions of our resident expert(s).

NOTE: A backup/raindate date of July 31st (same time) has been set in case the sky is not clear enough for an observation on Friday. Vincent will advise.

Programs follow NYS re-opening safety guidelines for non-essential businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing and wearing of masks is required. Completely outdoors, there will be natural ventilation. Environment is organized in alignment with COVID-10 guidelines.
