June 27: Captree Fishing Trip

Our Project Stewardship group has enjoyed boat outings with Operation Splash (cleaning the South Shore bays) and Freeport Water Taxi (seal watching) in the past. This season we will embark on a 4-hour Fishing Trip out of Captree Boat Basin on the North Star II. Even if you have never gone fishing before, there will be professionals on board to assist you. Poles, bate and tackle provided. Fish caught are cleaned on the boat and can be taken home for dinner. If not interested in fishing, you can still come along for the ride and enjoy time with peers!

This will be an fun and relaxing outing! Even though it is summer, please wear pants, bring a jacket and sun block. You may also bring water and snack although there is a snack bar with indoor seating and restrooms on board. Bring your cameras (or phones) for photos! I have been told that for $3, you can join the pool and whoever catches the biggest fish wins the pot!
