We are happy to announce that Dr. Lisa LoPinto will be offering a two-part training in the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach developed by Dr. Ross W. Greene at two upcoming Suffolk County CHADD (Children and Adults with ADD/ADHD) meetings this season! All are welcome to participate!
Dr. LoPinto and Dr. DeSchryver are certified CPS providers who work with The Children’s Sangha to facilitate our Community Support Group, the foundation of which is the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach geared to assist our young people in solving problem situations with the assistance of adults while building lagging skills in the process. View the Lives in the Balance CPS Resource Page Paperwork for helpful documents towards understanding why your child/young adult or student is having difficulty and help you to work with them using CPS. Please also feel free to visit The Children’s Sangha’s Community Support Group Facebook page Respecting, Responding To and Working with Our Long Island Kids for articles, webinars, conference and training information, on-line resources and inspiration that are CPS-specific to assist our Long Island families and schools.
The Community Support Group will hold a Mother’s Day Honor’s and CPS Basics Training for Mother’s Day on May 10th! SUNY Old Westbury students who are part of our Student Leadership Partnership will be offering gratitude gifts to our CPS moms! Please join our Collaborative Community!
