The young adults in our Civic Mentoring program work on a culmination project each season at community partner sites while they build skills. Today, we will have Brooke demonstrating her lyrical dance lesson which helps connect us to our bodies and relax the mind. Our group will participate in aspects of the dance lesson which will then be paired with a second activity… Our very own Kate Landsdorf, who is a certified Reiki practitioner, will introduce our group to Reiki and Mindfulness. This days focus on mind and body will provide techniques that participants can refer to at home.

NASSAU HALL, 1864 Muttontown Road, Muttontown, NY: Going north on Route 106/107, bear right when passing Whole Foods and the Miller Ridge Inn, staying on Rt. 106 towards Oyster Bay. Keep going until you reach the traffic light which is Muttontown Road (following your GPS to that intersection). You will be making a LEFT onto Muttontown Road, going through a stone/iron walled gated entrance. Then, pay attention (as road is dark) for the driveway for Nassau Hall (it comes up quickly / NOT far down this road / address should be on a mailbox or sign by the roadside) on the LEFT side of the road. Enter down the long driveway and you will see the mansion.
