November 8: TECA Conference

The Children’s Sangha will be participating, once again, with Twice Exceptional Children’s Advocacy (TECA) on the 2019 Conference: Building 2e Awareness & Community at Molloy College. Christine Keller, M.A., M.S.Ed. will be a panel member on the following afternoon session: TECA Panel (TR4): The Secret Sauce – Creating Inclusive Environments That Work for 2e Students. Additionally, we will have a table to discuss our programs and services as well as meeting/greeting parents and professionals. We are excited to provide volunteer opportunities for our interns and our Project Stewardship program young adults who all benefit from and contribute to this amazing event!

Keynote: Debbie Reber, MA, Founder, TiLT Parenting, author of Differently Wired: The Parents’ Guide for Raising an Atypical Child

Join TECA for a full day of more than a dozen workshops and panel discussions, networking and resources for parents of 2e kids and the professionals who work with them! This year will feature introductory and advanced topics related to parenting twice exceptional children, as well as a professional track for those who work with 2e students and their families or would like to deepen their knowledge of twice exceptionality.
